Coney Island
Coney Island
After disembarking the A Train out to Coney Island, we had a dog out at the first Nathan’s as well as a handful of biscuits from the Popeye’s across the street. Out on the boardwalk (which was rickety and a little scary in places) we saw a short bus graveyard, human paintball target range and a bunch of other oddities. We made our way out to the pier where one of the famous scenes from “Requiem for a Dream” was filmed, and on the way back, we caught a rare glimpse of the Coney Island Polar Bears making their way into the icy water. Finally, after mulling it over, we took a ride on the surprisingly great (and quite old) Cyclone roller coaster.
